Lake County is filled with train tracks, we drive over them every day, sometimes we have to wait a bit, but they generally don’t affect us much. Until… a freight train gets stuck on the tracks! Navigating a town cut in half by a trapped train is no fun and we had a super slow day since so many people just couldn’t get here! The train was finally cleared about 1:00. What a day that must have been for our municipal workers!
It did give us a chance, though, to work on our preparations for the Chinese New Year celebration Saturday! Decorations are going up and activities are being prepared. We are closed tomorrow, but we will be ready to go first thing Saturday. Come join us to celebrate the year of the Rat!
