We love things that are energy efficient and our new temporary home has a wonderful feature to help cut electricity use… motion sensors everywhere! Upstairs, downstairs, bathrooms, hallways, they all have motion controlled lights. This is great until nobody moves for a while, something that happens quite a bit in our quiet wing. The little hallway that leads to our coloring table and reading nook periodically decides that everyone is not playing enough and turns off some of the lights. Tonight, though, one of our visitors decided it was his job to keep the lights on. Jack dropped what he was playing with every time and ran until we were out of the semi dark. He was very curious about why this happened and started investigating… he is pretty sure this unassuming device on the ceiling is what causes it! We think he may be right, do you agree?
